Is IT Futures an officially accredited education institution?

We are a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO), recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) within the Australian Government. For our international students, we are member of the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

 

We also hold the following industry certifications and accreditations, which demonstrate our training credentials:

 

  • CISCO Networking Academy

  • Microsoft Imagine Academy

  • CompTIA Academy

  • CITRIX IT Academy

  • HP Academy

 

We only use training materials that the relevant vendor has authorised. This ensures that we always provide an in-depth and up-to-date exploration of topics.

What qualifications do your trainers have?

IT Futures trainers are fully qualified experts in their chosen fields with many years’ experience working in the ICT industry for some of Melbourne’s leading companies. Our trainers have completed rigorous training and met stringent technical certification requirements to become vendor authorised trainers.

Where can I park my car?

Parking is available on the street on St Kilda Rd and you will find other secure parking options nearby. Free parking is also available along St Kilda Rd on weekends. You can find out even more on our contact page.

How do I get to IT Futures?

IT Futures is located at Suite 5/level 1, 424 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne VIC 3004. Head over to our contact page for a map and extra directions.

Does IT Futures protect my privacy?

IT Futures is obliged to comply with the Privacy Act. We never give out your personal details to third parties and commit to keeping your information safe.

Payments

What happens if I want to enrol in a course, but can’t afford it?

We hope to make it easier for more people to enjoy studying with us. As part of this, we offer flexible payment plans for a selection of our courses so you can make smaller, regular payments for your course and study when it's right for you.

 

If you’re currently employed and are planning to enrol in a course that benefits your professional work, your employer may be interested in covering the cost of your course. We are happy to help you with this by supplying you with information to share with your employer.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by direct deposit, credit and debit card, and PayPal. When you’re ready to pay by PayPal or direct deposit, please forward your enrollment confirmation page to help@itfutures.edu.au.

Enrolment

Is there a minimum literacy & numeracy requirement I need to meet before I can enrol in courses?

We expect our students to have literacy & numeracy skills approximate to what you may have achieved in high school. If you unsure about whether or not you meet this requirement please contact us and we can help you out. Upon request or as directed by an instructor in class, you can complete a test to confirm your literacy & numeracy skills.

Do I need to have competent English skills to study at IT?

Our students need to be able to read, write and speak in English because this is the language our courses are written and delivered in.

Does IT Futures help students find internships?

Campus

Is smoking permitted anywhere on campus?

Smoking is not permitted. IT Futures is a smoke-free zone.

Can I use my mobile phone on campus?

You’re welcome to bring your mobile phone on campus with you, however, mobile phones must be switched off in the reception area and during class.

Does IT Futures have a dress code for students?

No formal dress code applies, however, we expect our students to dress to reflect the professional environment on campus.

How are students at IT Futures expected to behave?

We ask our students to be mindful of others and behave in a professional manner. Aggressive or disruptive behaviour is not tolerated.

Is there a limit to how many hours of class I attend each day?

To ensure that everybody gets enough rest between class, we do not permit our students to attend more than 8 hours of classes per day.

Is the St Kilda Rd campus the only IT Futures venue?

The majority of classes are run at IT Futures on St Kilda Rd, but some programs are conducted elsewhere in Melbourne. You will receive information about where your course will be taught when you enrol.
